For the second consecutive day, Al-Ameed University continues to host the activities of the International Al-Noor Qur’anic University Competition, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and hosted by the university, with the wide participation of 23 hosting universities and 53 Iraqi and international universities from various countries around the world.
The second day of the competition witnessed remarkable performances and strong contests among participants in the categories of Qur’anic memorization and recitation, amidst spiritually uplifting and faith-filled atmospheres that reflect the deep bond with the Holy Qur’an. Specialized arbitration committees continued their evaluation of participants’ performances in accordance with the approved technical standards.
The event also witnessed an official presence from the Scientific Complex for the Holy Qur’an at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, the University Presidency, representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and delegates from participating universities, in addition to a number of professors and students, who praised the excellent organization and the high level of competition. They affirmed that Al-Ameed University’s hosting of this competition represents a significant contribution to Iraq’s academic and religious forums, enriching both educational and spiritual spheres.
